Sea Terrace Cabin
The honest one-liner
Sea Terrace is the Virgin experience most people think they are booking.
Who it suits
  • First timers who want the full feel of the ship
  • Couples who like slow mornings and sunsets
  • Anyone who wants their own outside space without going looking for it
What it feels like
This cabin changes the rhythm of your day. You start and end with the ocean. The balcony is not just a feature, it becomes a little daily ritual.
The trade-off
It costs more. If you never sit outside, you paid for a feature you did not use.
The value test
Sea Terrace is worth it if you will use the balcony at least once per day. If you know you will not, put the money into shore experiences or a splash of onboard luxury.
Small wins
  • Make the balcony part of your routine: coffee, sunset, post dinner wind-down
  • If you get social energy onboard, the balcony becomes your quiet reset
Red Wave recommendation
For most first timers, Sea Terrace is the sweet spot. It’s the cabin you rarely regret.
The Sea Terrace
cabin 185 sq ft
Virgin Voyages Sea Terrace cabins feature a private balcony with hammock, offering outdoor space alongside the standard cabin layout.
The classic Virgin balcony cabin with the terrace and hammock that most first timers picture when they book. Sleeps 1–2 with your own outside space for coffee, sunsets and a quiet reset between everything else.
Limited View Sea Terrace
cabin 185 sq ft
A Sea Terrace with the same layout and balcony, but with a partially restricted view from the terrace. Often priced lower, so it can be a smart way to get the balcony experience without paying full Sea Terrace rates.
XL Sea Terrace
cabin 225 sq ft
Virgin Voyages XL Sea Terrace cabins offer extra interior space with a private balcony and hammock for a more spacious cabin experience.
A Sea Terrace with more breathing room, ideal if you unpack fully or prefer a less compact cabin feel. Still includes the terrace and hammock, but with extra space that makes day-to-day life onboard easier.
